- Pressure → temperature: type your gauge reading on the left. You get the saturation temperature for that refrigerant.
- Temperature → pressure: type a target saturation temperature on the right to get the matching pressure.
- Switch between bar / psig / kPa and °C / °F to match your gauges.
Superheat & subcooling, quickly
Superheat = suction-line temperature − saturation temperature at suction pressure. Subcooling = saturation temperature at discharge/liquid pressure − liquid-line temperature. Use this tool to get the two saturation temperatures, then subtract.

Values are saturation (bubble-point) data interpolated from NIST WebBook for pure refrigerants and ASHRAE approximations for blends. Use the manufacturer chart for safety-critical work.
FAQ
What is a refrigerant PT (pressure–temperature) chart?
A PT chart shows the saturated pressure of a refrigerant at a given temperature (and vice versa). Techs use it to find the saturation temperature from a gauge reading — the basis for measuring superheat and subcooling.
How do I find superheat with a PT chart?
Read the low-side (suction) pressure, convert it to saturation temperature using the PT chart for your refrigerant, then subtract that from the measured suction-line temperature. The difference is the superheat.
Which refrigerants are supported?
This tool covers 34 refrigerants including R-22, R-410A, R-404A, R-134a, R-32, R-507A, R-407C, R-600a and more — HCFC, HFC, HFO, natural and blended refrigerants.
Is this PT calculator free?
Yes. It is completely free, works offline once loaded, and needs no sign-up. The full R-Pro field app adds AI diagnosis, voice memo, equipment scan and job tracking.
