AC Indoor Unit Water Drip — Condensate Leak Diagnosis

Step 1 — Identify leak point (drain pan, slope, trap, joints)

Check: Remove front panel/filter → inspect drain pan. Water pooling = slope deficient or clog. Side or rear leak = condensation on insulation or unit tilted. After 30 min OFF, water drip stops = condensate vs other. Inspect insulation (tears, moisture intrusion).

What to do: Clean inside pan → ensure ≥1% slope (1–2° back-tilt of indoor unit). For clogs, wet-vac or compressed air. Tilted unit = remount bracket. Damaged insulation = replace. After service, pour 2 L water and confirm drain within 90 sec.
