AC New Install — Commissioning Checklist (ENERGY STAR / Korean KS)

Step 1 — Measure airflow (CFM/L·s) and static pressure

Check: ENERGY STAR: measured CFM within ±15% of design. Per-room CFM within ±20% or 25 CFM (greater). Normal intake-discharge ΔT = 8–12°C. Total external static pressure (TESP) = sum of |return| + |supply|. Record discharge/suction pressure + superheat/subcooling.

What to do: Measure CFM at each diffuser with anemometer. Verify within ±15% of design. Measure TESP with static gauge (confirm blower normal load). On pass, complete commissioning report (CFM, TESP, high/low pressure, superheat, subcooling). Hand over to user with photos required.
