Ceiling Cassette Install — Shops/Offices 4-Way Airflow

Likely causes

Commercial cassette = ceiling embed + 4-way airflow = different procedure from home

Check: **Pre-check**: ① Ceiling strength (PVC needs reinforcement, concrete direct OK). ② Ceiling space (min 250-350mm, varies by LG/Samsung model). ③ Power (220V 1-phase, 30A+ breaker). ④ Pipe routing (liquid/gas in ceiling out). ⑤ Drain (gravity to ext wall = OK; else condensate pump). **Time**: 6-10 hr (vs 3 hr for wall split). **Pre-requisites**: ① Ladder ≥2.5m. ② Torque wrench/vacuum pump/manifold (same as residential). ③ Ceiling cut tools (drywall knife, drill). ④ Anchors + wire (handles 10kg+ unit).

What to do: **6-step install**: ① **Ceiling mark** (body + 4-way grill, ≥100mm clearance). ② **Cut ceiling** (avoid joists, electric, comm). ③ **Hanging wire + anchor** = M10, 30kg, 4-point + level. ④ **Connect pipes/power/drain** in ceiling space. ⑤ **Install grill** (4-way vane). ⑥ **Commissioning** = same as residential (Megger/vac/pressure/ΔT) + 4-way airflow measurement (each ±10%). **New shops** = coordinate with interior contractor (install before ceiling close).
