High Pressure Rise from Condenser Coil Fouling
Likely causes
Dust/lint accumulation (humid environments like freezer showcases)
Check: Cut power and remove cover
What to do: Cut power and remove cover → Blow dust with compressed air from reverse direction → For grease: apply alkaline coil cleaner, then rinse with water → Straighten damaged fins with fin comb → Measure high-side pressure after cleaning (target: R22 condensing sat. temp ≤ ambient + 15°C)
Grease/oil fouling (installed near kitchens)
