Multi-Temperature Cargo Box Zone Failure — Partition Fault
Likely causes
Partition gasket aged — cold air cross-infiltration between zones
Check: A4 paper test around entire partition gasket — if 2 or more sections have no resistance, replacement is required
What to do: Replace partition gasket → verify partition hinge tightness → re-measure zone temperatures (after 2+ hours stabilization)
Zone temperature sensor deviation — false fault indication
Check: Compare each zone sensor reading against reference thermometer: if deviation >2°C, sensor is faulty
What to do: Replace faulty sensor → perform sensor calibration in controller after replacement → verify 24-hour temperature log
Zone fan motor fault — cold air distribution impossible in specific zone
Check: Measure zone fan motor current — within ±20% of rated is normal; replace if overcurrent or no current
What to do: Replace faulty fan motor → check fan motor wiring connector for poor contact → verify zone temperature stabilizes after replacement
In multi-temperature systems, partition gaskets are the key consumable — include full gasket A4 test in the annual inspection checklist.
