Temperature Rise During Engine-Stop Standby Mode Switch

Likely causes

Shore power not connected or voltage fault

Check: Connect standby plug and verify STANDBY display on controller — if absent measure input voltage (3-phase 380–480V)

What to do: Inspect power supply cable → verify voltage within ±10% of rated → check ATS operation and retry transfer

Battery discharged — DC operation impossible without standby power

Check: 12V battery voltage: ≥12.4V normal, <11.8V discharged — check charge state after engine idling

What to do: Charge or replace battery → verify alternator output 13.8–14.4V → battery inspection every 6 months

No pre-cooling performed — cargo temperature exceeds tolerance on arrival

Check: Check pre-departure cargo box temperature record — verify whether box was 2–3°C below setpoint before departure

What to do: Start refrigeration 1–2 hours before departure to pre-cool cargo box → load cargo only after setpoint reached → minimize loading time

Field tip

If standby input voltage deviates more than ±10% from rated value, compressor motor will be overloaded — recommend using a voltage stabilizer at facilities with unstable power.
