Poor Temperature Recovery After Door Opening

Likely causes

Door gasket aged or damaged — cold air leakage

Check: A4 paper test: insert paper around entire door perimeter; sections with no resistance when pulling = leak point

What to do: Replace gasket (cut corners at 45°, use dedicated adhesive) → re-verify with A4 test → tighten hinge bolts to 15–20 N·m

PVC strip curtain damaged or not installed

Check: Check if strip curtain is installed and inspect for damage or hardening — verify 20cm width and 50% overlap standard

What to do: Replace with new PVC strip curtain (width 20cm, thickness 3mm, 50% overlap) → verify opening/closing resistance after installation

Reduced pull-down capacity — low refrigerant or compressor fault

Check: Measure pull-down time from +30°C to setpoint in empty cargo box — if 30% over design time, investigate

What to do: Check suction/discharge pressures → repair leak and recharge if low refrigerant → verify compressor current within ±10% of rated
