Premature Cutoff from Thermostat Sensor Misplacement
Likely causes
Sensing bulb in direct contact with evaporator coil or frost
Check: Separate sensor bulb from coil
What to do: Separate sensor bulb from coil → Reposition in area of good air circulation inside cabinet → Check clip and insulation condition → Verify thermostat operation after reinstallation
Sensing bulb position changed from loose clip
Check: Reposition in area of good air circulation inside cabinet
What to do: Reposition in area of good air circulation inside cabinet → Check clip and insulation condition → Verify thermostat operation after reinstallation
Field tip
The sensor is directly touching the coil, sensing much lower temperatures than the actual cabinet. Relocate the sensor.
All 565 cases work offline in R-Pro, with error codes for 62 brands and P-T data for 108 refrigerants.
